Composition series

The Composition series is based on sheet metal laser cut-outs seen at a fabricator’s yard in Birmingham. The fabricator would stack a pile of these sheets for disposal as scrap at the end of the month. The resulting random arrangement of positive and negative spaces has always fascinated me and was used as a reference.
